“This year it got out of hand, most likely, because a burglary alarm went off in the school, he said.”
Yeah, the racist burglar alarm caused it.

Doesn’t seem like prank I’d risk getting arrested in order to pull. Talk about stupid.

My senior pranks was painting the rock in front of our rival our colors. Of course, they did the same to us.

Where I grew up it was common. Harmless though, caused no material or physical damage.

Even if the damage was minor the cost of cleanup might be high. Silly String on the floors and Vaseline on door knobs, the immature spoiled brats who did it should have been made to clean up the mess.

Depends on what kind of hot dogs they were. If beef, then homophobia was surely a factor. If pork...

That’s the difference. Youthful pranks back then involved doing harmless stuff. Today, it cannot be considered worth doing unless it involves burning the school to the ground.

Last year we had one of the seniors pour baby oil all over the stairways leading to the second floor. Someone slipped going down the stairs and was knocked unconscious by the fall. Needless to say, the students who did it were found and arrested.
Senior pranks turn destructive in environments where many low-end people live. This town is very much an economically poor community (for the obvious reasons) which votes dumbasscrat religiously, so no surprise here.

Here’s a bright statement...
“Cops did not catch criminals and convicts,” he said. “They caught kids and young adults.”
Thank goodness there are no kids/young adults out there that are criminals.

The year before us, they burned a huge 1983 into the grass on the hill where we had to walk up to class. We decided a heavy dose of fertilizer would be more cool, and it was.
