The sheer egotism in big government mouthpieces claiming that they can rescue mankind from all the natural threats which afflict us should be laughable. And make no mistake -- for many of us, it is.

For my money, the humor in such egotism doesn’t get any more obvious than then-governor Arnold Schwarzenegger telling lab workers in Toronto, “I look forward to curing all these terrible illnesses.”

How did ancient man deal with climate change? With no lsm there, what could they possibly do? What was causing it? Was it some evil from their gods sending something to destroy them? Nah, they just moved. Or dressed warmer. I read somewhere that during one global cooling event(ice age?), humankind was nearly wiped out and the guesstimate population reduced to under 100 thousand. Lucky for us we have all this warming to deal with. Just think how low the heating bills are gonna be. :>}

If it wasn't for Climate Change, there'd be no Great Lakes, no Niagara Falls, no Yosemite National Park, no GLACIER National Park.

All these beautiful works of nature were carved out by advancing and treating glaciers over millennia. Whatever millennia means. I think it means weeks.

The notion that we could somehow stop/control/reverse climate change is laughable. Mother nature has been shaking things up for billions of years and will continue to shake things up right up to the point the sun goes supernova and fries us to a cinder. Nature plays with forces and energy levels on a global scale far far beyond anything we can hope to fool with. If every single person on the planet dedicated their lives, efforts, resources and technology to nothing else but trying to hold the climate “steady” (whatever that means) we would fail miserably. You lib lurkers reading that think I’m wrong? We are not so far removed from Neanderthals cowering in caves. We still run/hide from hurricanes, tornadoes, floods, fires... These are relatively small isolated events when looked at on a global scale. Yet our best defense of our lives when confronted with these is to run/hide, like our ancestors. We do not play on a global scale, we can’t even master weather on a local scale.

If you made $100,000 per year after taxes then you could buy anything you could ever need in the free market because someone would produce it for money( look at the millions of products for sale on Google , internet , ebay , amazon,Walmart, Dollar Tree etc etc). So we don’t need government for ANYTHING. private industry created a whole city DISNEY WORLD in Florida. So democrats create fake crisis like “global warming”,”no health insurance crisis” to justify the very existence of government and the continued growth of government(socialism)

LOL! I think Miami is “scheduled” to see a sea level rise of 6”, 9”, 3’5” or 6’3”. They’ll let us know what the amount will be based on how much tax revenue they get from charging Californians on their miles driven. Sounds like liblogic doesn’t it? however by 2100, Al Gore in his Oscar-winning film An Inconvenient Truth went much further, talking of 20 feet, and showing computer graphics of cities such as Shanghai and San Francisco half under water.

It is extraordinary blasphemy to think that man controls weather. It is a modern day Tower of Babel. If we can but unite, we can scale the heavens and wrest the weather controls from the Almighty.
