Could this possibly be related to the decision to scrap nuclear power? Hmm.

carbon dioxide is what plants breath, then they create O2, hell I exhale CO2 myself.

Germany is holding up the EuroUnion, so now they get the shaft.

CO2 isn’t pollution.

GER makes more of it, because they make more stuff.

Yep. Germany is hard core anti-nuclear power. But they buy nuclear generated power from France.

Story in WSJ this week about all the cheap high sulfur coal mined here in Indiana that we can’t burn due to EPA goes on barges down the Mississippi, then ships across the ocean to Germany. And even with shipping it’s still 20% cheaper than their domestic stuff.

A few years back Merkel’s party had to form a coalition with the Greens in order for her to keep power. This gave the Greens leverage and combined with a good crisis (Fukushima) they managed to get all nuclear power in Germany shut down. Gas and oil have to be purchased at great cost from Russia so what is left is coal.

Now any rational human being would question the Green’s motives given they would rather have polluting coal and less power than nonpolluting nuclear and more power. Unfortunately a great deal of Germany is populated by leftists who are not rational and questionably human.

760 million tonnes doesn’t even come close to China’s 9.9 billion tonnes. Good thing we don’t all share the same planet! Still, calling carbon dioxide “pollution” is just stupid. Oh, wait, that causes global warm . . . er climate cha ... climate disrupt . . . Climate Apocalypse. Yeah, that’s it! “Conservative Caused Total Climate Apocalypse”
