No and no.

Saying “who cares (where/from whom it) came from” says a lot about one’s political leanings, and saying “(s)ometimes government is in a better position to accomplish tasks than private industry” says even more about same.

The question about whether the US is a “better place” with the interstate highway system as a public works project is still very much open. The Allies certainly found that the autobahn system made it very easy to penetrate the “Fatherland” with military might; it may be (and not just “may be”) that enemies of the USA already find the same ease with the interstates.

Sorry bub but you’re just off the rails here. Show me who that isn’t a government would construct an interstate highway system. Go ahead. When you can find one then you might have a point, until then you’re just being stupid.
