How, exactly, has it changed, Mr. Dre?
Beats Audio headphones are absolute crap. I laugh anytime I see people with that “b” icon on their ears.
How, exactly, has it changed, Mr. Dre?
There's a black guy on it?............
As someone once said, ‘It ain’t braggin’ if you can do it!”................
So... what?
Is Mr. Dre the first black guy to make the Forbes rich list? I doubt it.
Race race race race race race race.
Just wait until he has to pay the taxes...
I think John H. Johnson, who owned Ebony Magazine, was on the original list.
That's exactly who I was thinking of.
Apple ridding themselves of competition. Beats music downloads must have been putting a noticeable dent.
Congratulations to Dr. Dre and Apple. That is exactly what capitalism is all about. Too bad not every American sees it that way. Nobody was giving away anything. It is done in an earned currency. It is wonderful when it works right.
The fastest way for a rapper to become a millionaire is to pay $3.4 billion for Apple
Agreed. I listen to headphones all day at work and went to replace a pair about a month ago. I tried a bunch of different headphones at Best Buy and the Beats headphones were the worst sounding and the most expensive. I asked the kid working there what the deal was and he said they were a “fashion accesory” and the people that bought them didn’t really care that they were overpriced crap. It was all about the “cool” factor. Understandable for kids, been there done that too with different stuff a long time ago.
That being said, I applaud Dr Dre on this move. That is capitalism in its essence.
Andre and the NWA group were very shrewed and practical businessmen. Well, except Eazy E who died of aids, and yella who became a pornographer. The knew the real money was in producing and promoting hip hop. They are doing pretty good gor a group of guys that grew up on the streets of Compton.
