Obama Preparing Executive Orders To Push Green Energy

President Obama is preparing to use “the pen and phone” to push more solar power and energy efficiency measures. He wants to deal with global warming but not congressional Republicans.

Obama will order executive agencies to push a slew of new programs to promote solar power, green jobs training and subsidize investing in energy efficient appliances and equipment. Obama will also announce a plan to complete solar panel installations on the roof of the White House.

The president will make his announcement Friday at a Wal-Mart in Mountain View, California and outline 300 “private and public sector commitments” to reduce carbon dioxide, which is released into the atmosphere through the burning of hydrocarbons and through natural processes.

Follow up to his walmart comments earlier. Is there nobody (hardly) that has the sack to gut funding for all this crap. I thought congress controlled the money. I guess the lyin'king just needs to write a check and call his boy jeff immelt to give some credit. Like I wasn't already disgusted.

Time for state legislatures to nullify any BS coming from the Commode-in-Chief.

Even though Battery technology still sucks (Electric cars of the early 1900’s had the same range as those of today), I’m down with photovoltaic panels. Too bad I can’t get any from Bammy’s Sta$h.

The only thing "green" about this is all the money we're burning.
And to deface a national treasure (well, it once was) with solar panels?!
I'm sure the WH with all its electronics and air conditioners, above and under ground, is using way more electricity than the solar panels can supply even at high noon on a perfect summer day.

Why not?

He’s the President, right? Just like “President” Chavez, “President” Castro, “President” Putin. When you are “President” you can do whatever you want. Sort of like being a King, except you don’t have to answer to God, since He is irrelevant to socialism. (Sarcasm)

"I thought congress controlled the money"

That's my question as well.

Obama treats the congress like illegitimate children...

so why don't they treat him the same way?

How about on day one of a Republican-controlled House+Senate they pass a bill invalidating every single executive order issued since 2009. Then revoke the “Anchor Baby” distortion of the 14th amendment.

Then break for lunch, impeach Eric Holder, make someone finally tell us who issued the Stand Down order on Sept 11 2012 and get started on impeaching the Socialist-in-Chief.

I'll believe that Barry the Boob is serious about solar energy the day Air Force One derives 100% of its energy from solar cells, and Barry himself so attests by his presence on board during a 100% solar-powered flight.

However...I don't believe I'll be seeing anything like that any time soon.

Is there anybody with the sack (sic)....

Yes there is. Unfortunately there are few in positions of power to effect any meaningful cuts. 23-year Boehner wont, he’s had cuts to his sac. It’s missing. Issa? Don’t trust that self-satisfied sac for a second. And on and on.

Preezy is missing a sac as we have known for quite sometime. It’s why he can wear Mom jeans comfortably. Hillary has his locked in her hope chest with the other moth balls.

So maybe it’s time each of us issued our own Executive Orders. My first one involves refraining from eating at Taco Bell before the school play. Imagine the CO2 savings.

Well, see, the point is for you NOT to be able to afford it, whilst the elite get it paid for by you through taxes.

With all these brilliant, college educated people running things in the gov’t.,what would it be like if they were all high school dropouts? Would we be able to tell the difference?
