Liberal Writer Compares Hillary to Pope Francis, Says She Could Win 45 States
The American Spectator ^ | 5.8.14 | Aaron Goldstein

Brent Budowsky, a liberal writer who once worked for former Democratic Vice-Presidential candidate Lloyd Bentsen, has a hillarious column about Hillary Clinton.

Budowsky claims that if Hillary runs in 2016 she “could well carry 45 states.” I don't know what political universe Budowsky lives in, but no presidential candidate, Democrat or Republican, could carry 45 states in 2016.

He goes on to claim that the former Secretary of State “addresses the nation as a whole in tones reminiscent of Pope Francis.” I'm surprised that Budowsky didn't nominate Hillary for sainthood.

With the dumbasscrat fraud machine churning out “lost” votes at an alarming rate (that conveniently all are marked for the dumbasscrat), dumbasscrats are poised to win every election from this day forward in perpetuity...

I don’t think they’ll even need to resort to very much fraud from here on out. The government indoctrination centers and the left’s propaganda wing are doing a bang-up job on future voters, and that’s besides all the gibme voters, including the coming hordes of amnestied leeches.

I’m trying to remember. Isn’t Hillary the one who couldn’t even win the nomination the last time?

I think he is correct for the following reasons: America is in its death spiral. It will probably take many years for the final sack, rape and pillage, but we are dying as a nation. In declining states the people intuitively chose the most harmful candidates. Further, they love those that harm them; i.e. look at the ink, blood and treasure spent in defending murderers, drug addiction, abortion and out right theft. Lastly, look what was elected in 2008. Hillary will run and win.

She would win in the College of Cardinals by at least 300 votes. And it would be racist and sexist to check their IDs or to question that type of landslide with only 120 cardinals voting.

And you think things are bad today? Hillary would make things even worse.

Hillary has the potential to be another McGovern if the GOP can (a) not kill itself with amnesty, and (b) scrape up a candidate that is at least “not bad.” Tall order.

Poor Pope Francis! He’s enthusiastic and unwary in his speech (although this is changing) and the media has had a field day casting him in their image. However, I think his devoutness and good intentions connect with a lot of people.

But saying that Hillary Clinton, the worst SOS ever (because Obama kicked her in the teeth, sent her away whenever there was an important meeting, and she actually got to do nothing), connects with nobody. If she runs, “What difference does it make, at this point,” is going to become her slogan.

And she did it all to defend her boss, because Hillary always stands by her man.

The fraud machine is pretty well perfected now. That plus the welfare state is going to make hillary extremely difficult to beat.

Perhaps impossible.

Sorry, friends, but that’s the reality.

I do hope Cruz or someone can figure out a way out of this current predicament....

This clears up a mystery for me, I had no idea how many states there were in the northeast, so it’s 45 then?

Yeah, the smug hypocrisy of her on 20/20 or whatever it was, being condescending to middle America taking their marriage vows seriously and “standing by their man” or woman, mocking a southern country singer and her signature song for saying that, while at the same time she's the one “standing by her man” for the most cynical of reasons.

It’s interesting that so many people believe that Hillary Clinton would make a good President. Hillary may sound great, but I can’t think of anything that she has accomplished, either as a Senator or as Secretary of State. I do remember her photo op using that big red button from Staples, to reset our relationship with Russia. Can you imagine how bad things would be between the United States and Russia if Hillary had not hit that button, thanks Hillary. And her capable leadership in making sure the embassy in Benghazi was secure. And then when it was attacked and four Americans lost their lives, explaining to us that it was because folks were upset over a video. And I appreciated her answer when asked about the incident “what does it matter now.” That’s true leadership. Yep, things are going pretty good all over the world for the good ole U.S. of A, thanks to the great job Hillary did. And she’s so dedicated to the welfare of the country, that after only four years and so many great achievments, instead of making the world perfect, she stepped aside, what a trooper. It’s fascinating that Sarah Palin, a succesful governor, wasn’t prepared to be vice president, but ole Hillary is well qualified since she was married to a president, was a carpet bag senator and pushed a red button for the Russians. Go Hillary!

Only because black trumped white female in the leftist victim hierarchy, and white guilt-ridden indoctrinated Americans couldn't wait to try to alleviate (in vain, as it turned out-who couldn't see that coming?) some of their angst. That won't happen twice in a row. Now, if an “out” sodomite runs against her, all bets are off.

And Hussein has laid the groundwork for her to go radical left, which she would want to do instinctively. She’s no “politician’s politician” like Slick was, making nice with W after they both had left office. She’s a true believer. The only mitigating factor if she won might be that with age and her recent beat-down under Hussein’s administration, she might have lost some of her zeal and fire. On the other hand, that very factor might make her worse-no fury like a woman scorned and all that.
