GOP will start Benghazi probe without Dems after Nancy Pelosi rejects committee rules

Sir: You are so right!!! Obama is destroying the Democrat Party. I’m sure if you were a “fly-on-the-wall”.....rank & file Democrats are screaming for Reid/Pelosi to broom Obama. Read my lips......Obama is the problem....for our country, for the Democrat party and for every person that lives in the USA!!!

Hint for us good guys & gals: Get out and vote on election day, November, 2014 and help destroy the Democrat Party politically!!! This one of the most important mid-term elections ever!!! The survival of the country depends on its outcome. Obama is naught......but, the would be destroyer of the American Republic!!! All of true Americans need to vote!!!

“According to a Democratic leadership aide, Pelosi rejects a rule that will not prevent chairman Trey Gowdy, R-S.C., from issuing unilateral subpoenas without consulting with Democrats. The rules would also allow Republicans to prevent Democrats from interviewing witnesses.”

I can understand not letting the Dems block subpoenas, but there's no reason to prohibit them from interviewing witnesses.

Sure, they'll try to elicit statements that make Obama look good, but that's a legitimate aspect of a bipartisan investigation. It's kind of like a trial where each side's lawyer questions the witness in front of the jury but also gets to interview the witness beforehand. No one expects either lawyer to be impartial.

Blocking that will just make it easier for the whole thing to be painted as unfairly partisan.
