The issue that keeps coming up is a shaky abortion vote but I don’t really know the particulars. I think (but don’t know for sure) that he voted no on ending gender choice abortions.
On the other hand, it doesn’t sound like it would have done much to stop abortions because gender choice abortions are pretty rare.

You have it right. He voted no on ending gender choice abortions. He’s also a bit shaky on defense, and supports a two state solution to the Arab-Israeli situation. Overall, he’s better than most of them, and Boehner hates him, which is a plus.
