This must have come as just great news to vulnerable Democrats who have been running away from the President and his plunging approval ratings as fast as their collective feet can carry them. With the situation overseas deteriorating and plenty of issues to handle back home, what’s a President to do? Why, go to a fundraiser, natch. And while there, the Campaigner in Chief had a confession to make.
President Obama made a somber plea before an intimate crowd of some of Hollywood’s biggest donors Wednesday night, asking for help energizing disillusioned voters to give Democrats a chance of keeping their Senate majority in the midterm election.
“I’m in trouble at home,” the president joked at the Bel-Air home of Walt Disney Studios Chairman Alan Horn and his wife, Cindy. “I told Michelle back in 2012 I had run my last campaign. But a couple months ago, I had to let her in on a secret and that is, ‘Honey, I’ve got one more campaign I’ve got to run.’”
One of the most common protestations we hear from Democrat supporters this year when the subject of Obama’s less than stellar numbers comes up is, he’s not on the ballot! Well, surprise, surprise. Barack Obama has put himself right back on the playing field, and he is essentially on the ballot whether you like it or not. This also complicates the efforts of vulnerable, cash strapped Democrat Senators like Begich and Hagan who will now be explaining where some of those campaign dollars came from.
On an evening when Obama was raising money to help candidates in some of the most competitive races in the country, NRSC spokeswoman Brook Hougesen noted that some of the candidates had distanced themselves from Obama on the campaign trail.
“Democrats like Michelle Nunn, Kay Hagan, Mark Begich and Mark Udall poke President Obama with one hand and collect Obama’s liberal political cash and resources with the other; a brazen display of hypocrisy if there ever was one,” Hougesen said. “If these Democrats want their actions to match their words, they’ll refuse to accept campaign money and resources from President Obama and the DSCC.”
Tickets for Wednesday evening’s event ranged from $10,000 to $64,800, according to a DSCC official.
That’s a lot of green to pull in for one event, even from Hollywood’s bonanza level liberal donors. Let’s watch and see whether the temptation to take it is greater than the tarnish of where it came from for the more than one half dozen Left side Senators who are facing the political fights of their lives.
Why do I hope he ends up like the James gang???
I hope it doesn’t turn out like 2012 and he has not only Presidential success but Senate Success also. I shutter the thought.

The people who currently inhabit Northfield, Minn. would probably give the James-Younger gang a parade and keys to the bank vault if they had endorsed Obama.
Anything could happen. Never underestimate the obtuseness of the electorate. And the Demonrat vote fraud task force will be mobilized like never before.
He has more golf courses to play at our expense. He likely thinks those new (throne equipped?) helicopters are for him.
So he admits he was sent to do certain things and must get them done before he vanishes into thin air?
His whole damned presidency has been a campaign. He sure as hell can’t govern.

Watch in bewilderment this November, and understand that 'massive vote fraud' is really nothing more than the Ruling Class creating an illusion of choice for we sheeple, especially after they have sabotaged Conservatives in the primaries and dispirited the Tea Party from even going out to vote.
This week ought to have given us a clue as to what is in store in terms of the Ruling Class holding onto power. Money feeds the beast, and the beast feeds the constituency with money that feeds the beast with unbridled and unchallenged power.
The Beast will destroy any serious threat to it's power. By the time Conservatives wake up and understand that they have no voice in government, it will be too late for anyone to do a damn thing about it. Such is the lesson from history.
That's how he got elected every time, Chicago, Illinois, Washington. Its the democrats way. Why do you think they are so opposed to Voter ID? BTW, Motor Voter and its offshoots were the idea and invention of none other than Obama's fiscal mentors, Cloward and Piven. Interesting??? Hmmmm..
