Are they against concealed carry as well?

How would they know?

I have no problem with concealed carry. I’m fully aware those guys stop crime all the time, and you rarely hear about it in the news.

I’m suspicious of anybody who does anything “to prove a point.” That particular display was cowardly, because it was open aggression not against the authorities who would take your guns away. It was against a bunch of fast food workers and the people who eat there. Bravo. Striking a blow for freedom. Their intent was to frighten them, and they succeeded.

It was borderline hostile. And we might very well have become a nation of cowards, as you say... but it’s not because people are frightened when a bunch of armed guys enter a business. That’s common sense.

Well, I’m not sure I agree with your Premise, since exercising our Constitutional Rights shouldn’t be looked upon as something to frighten other Citizens. I’m not sure that you can assume that those particular Gun Owners had malicious intent.

I do agree that it does feed the Liberal meme, that’s for sure, which only shows how far we have fallen as a once Free People.

I guess it would have been better if they showed up with copies of the Bill of Rights with the “important” ones highlighted for the ignorant.

Back in the 70’s, I had a Gun Rack in my Ford Pickup with a .22 and a .410 Shotgun always cradled in it. I used to drive up to the Mountains and Target Shoot on a whim.

Nobody gave a Rat’s A$$ about my Guns, and that was in Southern California. In the late 50’s, my Brother carried his .22 to School since he was in the Shooting Club and the School had a Range. Nobody batted an eye, and this was Long Island, New York.

The problem isn’t the Guns, it’s the fact that the United States of America is now run by Politically Correct Liberal Girly Men whose sycophant Voters emulate them.

The Country I grew up in is over, it’s that simple. Time to run some Wadded up Panties up the Flag Pole, we are finished.

i agree. i am not a big fan of open carry and i think some of these “in your face” rallies do more harm than good. if a business is forced to choose i believe they are more likely to post a sign banning all guns which means those of us with ccw permits cannot be armed in there.
yesterday my friend and i had a conversation about the 2d amendment but conservatives also believe in letting private enterprises make their own decisions and live with the consequences. just because you can do something doesn’t mean you should do something. in Colorado ignoring a no guns sign is against the law. unfortunately we do not have a law stating exactly what the sign should say and where that sign should be. i know Americans are being taught to fear guns and i know it is an irrational fear but we have to take that into account if we are to change peoples’ minds..
