Wow a perfectly worthless plastic gun spray painted aluminum.

That’s not plastic. It’s stainless steel through and through.

It looks like plastic parts sitting on a block of aluminum. The 3-D printers create plastic parts.

This guy has an R after his name, and he wants to make you a FELON for being able to print one of these.
He should thrown out of office.

You haven't been paying attention. 3-D printers can sinter all kinds of metals.

There are 3-D printers that print in metal, carbon fiber, cement, bone, human tissue, etc., etc. Search the keyword “3DPRINTER” here and be amazed.

Rope is going to eventually be required, if legislators don't start respecting freedom.

That would be a good use for a 3D printer. We can customize the neck size.

Re-read the article. This (R) legislator posted this proposed “secret” law after he took a picture of it with his cell phone - he does not support it.

He’s the guy that uncovered the secret and took a photo with his cellphone, I believe.

Isn’t there already a federal law against making non metallic firearms?

There is no “secret law” here. Proposed legislation is always passed around prior to printing when the primary sponsor is seeking co sponsors.
This hasn’t even been introduced yet - it is just a proposal.
DelMarVa Ping (comment here or FReepmail me if wanting on or off) -— I thought McDowell was long gone from the Delaware Senate..............Sheesh. OTOH, if this is still the same McDowell I knew in my years at Leg Hall - he may very well be proposing this to prove a point, he was well known for things like that.
