Close enough - add to that a built-in mechanism for them to threaten and harm the career of those who expect them to act like adults and have some coping skills and the stage is set.

They know they can turn in anonymous critiques and make all sorts of specious and damning claims and the "system" requires taking an instructor out of the classroom until his/her guilt can either be proven or reluctantly let go of. Today's "leadership" knows that showing strength (by ruining a career or making other "hard decisions") is a sure way to prove they are on-board and promotable.

Can't wait until I turn it in and become a Joe-Blow citizen again...
