Next, electricity is going to be labeled by a little box at the oulet, Renewable and Non-Renewable.

It’ll make as much sense too.

Luddites have won the day.

Well perhaps they should learn to be careful with their frakenfoods. There is quite a bit at stake ya know.

“I’m against government solutions to problems. They just cause more problems.”

But you’re ok with big multi-national companies paying off pols to give them a huge amount of control over the food supply?

Thats what is happening.

So clean the scale? Otherwise when your product doesn’t sell you’ll go out of business to be replaced by someone who does clean their scale.

So there’s no difference between selective breeding between two types of corn and a plant that has had animal DNA grafted to its DNA?

Right, you don’t know what they hell you are talking about.

Not if you`re allergic to wheat, eggs, or peanuts, anaphylaxis can kill.

“fertilizers, herbicides and pesticides,” have nothing to do with GMO. Except the food factories want GMO so they don’t have to spend money on the “fertilizers, herbicides and pesticides,”

You work in the food industry and don’t want to label the food you sell. You know GMO foods won’t sell as well as non-GMO foods.

Government is already eyeball deep in everything. Heck you are talking about the food factories using government power to hide the GMO content.

Everything on the stupid label is already regulated. To say “keep the govt out of it” is a ridiculous statement.

The reach of those companies is pretty massive. They want full and total control of the food supply.

It’s going to tell me that they don’t care if they are selling frankenfood to their customers. Like I said, I’ll feel sorry for these poor, poor companies when they quit spending millions to install their cronies as head of the agencies that are regulating their industry. Be sure to post all the chapter 11filings that this labeling causes. I’m guess it will be a round number of filings. Round as in 0.

Take solace in the fact the public is going to make this happen. The naysayers can scream all they want but they`d also better pick out a comfortable and large enough area to have ready for the thrashing, foaming tantrum they`ll have when this passes everywhere.

Seems we heard the same arguments about the “made in” labels. I hate govt regulation but companies will mislabel and lie about their product to increase sales.

So whats the answer because its obvious the food industry doesn’t have the morals or integrity to police itself.

I think it`s got more to do with their personal investment bottom lines then the poor agribusinesses.

There’s a big difference between even conventional farming of 15 years ago and all of the crap loading into crops with GMO.

Harvard just came out with a study about neonicotoids killing off bees, and neonicotoid use is intertwined with GMO.

It is a mistake that we’ve allowed GMOs in this country at all.

So you’re lying to prevent an impact to sales?

My mothers day is fine.

When it gets slapped on everything for 'compliance' whether the food was actually processed on that equipment or not... it's useless.
