People have a right to information and it is a role of government to require that sellers provide basic information to buyers

How did we make it as a country for over a century without those laws?

Fraud covers sellers lying. It's already illegal.

One hell of a lot of detail is missing from the Constitution on most any subject you can name.

Like I said, you're talking nonsense and requiring sellers to disclose information to buyers is a legitimate role of government.
