Making sure that the information that sellers disclose is a legitimate role of government.... ie fraud is illegal.

Forcing companies at gunpoint to divulge whatever information you decide you want today... that isn't.

If it's not authorized in Art 1, Section 8, the congress has no power over it, constitutionally.

You’re far too late on that one. Do you think sellers wanted to disclose all the ingredients in canned food? Or the Nutrition Facts? Sellers are already required to disclose all sorts of information, as they should be.

And few things would be easier to disclose than GMO or non GMO on most all products. Sellers just don’t want to disclose it because they know a significant number of buyers will not buy GMO, or food that is clearly from China.

Sellers have been required to disclose specific information for many decades. The current argument is simply over what information they should be required to disclose, not IF.

You’re wasting your time and everyone else’s with the Article 1, Section 8 references.
