I had a 68 Cutlass (Not the Hurst version)that looked exactly like that minus the stripe.

That car was scary fast.

I had a maroon one. It had “The Police Package”. Great car, but it went through a water pump a year.

We all remember these old musclecars as scary fast. A V-6 Camry with the 2GR-FE engine would spank most of them in a drag race. Toss in a few corners and a 100 to zero braking test and there is no contest.

I still like the cars of the sixties, but what we have today is much better.

My FIRST thought after looking at the list was “where’s the Cutlass?”

Also, how can they include the Toronado? It’s admittedly kinda badass looking, but they only made it for five years? Seems like there should be a minimum production period for it to make the list. If it was all that, they would have kept it around.

A friend in high school had a bright yellow ‘57 Olds convertible. Big, heavy car with a hydra-matic but it had balls. Once that thing was moving it had an amazing top end.

I had a 68 Cutlass Supreme convertible all black with a bench front seat.
Got it for $50 when it couldn't pass inspection in 74. Got a job at a garage, and later a body shop.
2 1/2 yrs later I got my op permit. I literally drove the wheels off of it (broke a ring gear and tore it up).
I wish I'd had the storage room then to put it away for later.
