Lawsuits are fun but they don’t solve much. Even after they got caught sending an innocent man to prison (and getting sued big) Fort Collins police haven’t been held accountable and haven’t learned their lesson. If the sheriff’s office did crap like this you bet we would have a new sheriff but city police are run by unaccountable bureaucrats that don’t care how much tax payer money has to go out in settlements
Ft. Collins is an idiot liberal college town. I really feel bad for people who have to live in Colorado when it’s now being run by complete morons. Colorado has attracted good talented people for a long time, but it also attracted stupid trust-funders, and they’re the ones drawn to political power.
Actually the Sheriff is a good guy there. He stood out in front of the Ft Collins high school in 0 degree temperature waving the American Flag in protest of school. He is one of the 55 Sheriffs sued the state over the gun legislation.
