This is just breaking, so I thought I’d serve it up for y’all:
Onstage with Robert Gibbs and CBS correspondent and “Spies Against Armageddon” co-author Dan Raviv, Rove said Republicans should keep the Benghazi issue alive.
He said if Clinton runs for president, voters must be told what happened when she suffered a fall in December 2012.
The official diagnosis was a blood clot. Rove told the conference near LA Thursday, “Thirty days in the hospital? And when she reappears, she’s wearing glasses that are only for people who have traumatic brain injury? We need to know what’s up with that.”
I know everyone’s going to be in a tizzy of righteous indignation over this, and Rove sounds rather blunter about it than I’d be. But the fall was serious, her disappearance lengthy, and information about her condition not exactly readily available. There would be questions about it just as there were always questions about McCain’s health, right? I suppose those questions are seen as unseemly, but I’m not sure they’re out of bounds.

Remember when the media gleefully declared that Dole was too old to be president when a railing on a temporary podium broke away (no doubt installed by a union carpenter) and he fell?
H*****y will run, and enjoy front runner status just long enough until the REAL chosen one, who will be a younger, more vibrant, and attractive candidate appears out of nowhere and beats her for the nomination.
That was the same thing they did to her in 2008.
The only question is which minority (or minorities) the eventual candidate will represent.

hard to tell with Hillary. Could have been a stroke and more afterwards, or the disappearing act could have been to shut down any discussion of Bengazi until it was ‘old’ news. Can’t see Chelsea crying over the flu, tho.

Excessive drinking can cause a terrible fall which can cause terrible brain damage which can result in long term rehab time.....etc.
Hitlary is in no way “presidential material” and never was before or has been after the fall.
If Hillary requires special glasses (or an aide always on her side) to avoid running into things she is less than 100%. But so is Biden, and so (probably) is Zero -- from his drug use history -- so maybe brain damage is now a requirement to become a successful liberal politician!
I think it's mainly the people around her -- particularly Bill -- as well as the Clinton sycophants in the media, who believe that she's capable of being President. On a good day, she even believes it herself.
The last "presidential material" was Ronaldus Maximus -- it's amazing that in a nation of over 318 million people, we can't do any better than this.

In this photo, she looks like somebody taking major steroids (look at the round face). I don’t know what those are given for, other than certain respiratory problems.
In any case, I suspect she did have some sort of health problem, but I also suspect she was kept out of sight for so long to protect her from the Benghazi fall out and also to ensure that she’d be unreachable and not able to accidentally spill any information she had.
Muskie cried because the press was outing his wife for her alcoholism issues in a time where something like that was private and embarrassing.

And it was fortunate for her that she was in better shape in those days since she had to do all of that running and dodging, huh?

I believe it was a faux-fall, to provide an excuse for Hillary’s unavailability to answer post-Benghazi questions.
But, Rove is correct when he suggests it’s a good way to suggest she’s mentally unfit for office.

Far from a medical expert here, but a diagnosis of brain damage does not square with her now famous performance at the Congressional Benghazi hearing, where she emphatically asked
“What difference does it make?” There was no stumbling or confusion in her lying that day.
The only question is which minority (or minorities) the eventual candidate will represent.
