He asked 4 questions, I think he misssed the big one: where was Obama during the attack? There are alot of politicians gone to jail for using paid employees to work on campaigns; this is a screaming example of that, if nothing else.
For at least an hour of the time, Obama and Biden were on the phone with Netanyahu (an hour around dinner time, as I recall). They were briefed on the attack in the late afternoon. After the call with Netanyahu, Obama no doubt retired to his quarters (to get ready for his fundraising trip) and left Vietor and other low level flunkies in charge of the situation room.
Where he was is less important to me than did he give the order to stand down OR did he leave the decision to stand down or not to political low level flunkies.
Until and unless definitive evidence of something else surfaces, it will be my belief that he was hunkered down with political advisers, strategizing about about how to cover his and the Wicked Witch of the Easts' butts.
