Karl Rove stunned a conference when he suggested Hillary Clinton may have brain damage.

The official diagnosis was a blood clot. Rove told the conference near LA Thursday, “Thirty days in the hospital? And when she reappears, she’s wearing glasses that are only for people who have traumatic brain injury? We need to know what’s up with that.”

Rove repeated the claim a number of times to the audience. Clinton’s rep said, “Please assure Dr. Rove she’s 100 percent.”

When media types and Democrats said the same about (then) Governor Reagan, it caused voters to have sympathy.

Wonder how this’ll play out?

Rove is going where the elite media will not responsibly take us.

Washington insiders know when something is being covered up. No doubt the Georgetown crowd has been whispering about Hillary’s awkward strange appearance and “illness” and mannerisms for 2 years. With Hillary and probably Pelosi, too. Just look at their mannerisms and physical appearance, and listen to their tortured or vapid speeches. Anyone here think Pelosi is intellectually normal?

Kudos to Rove for opening the door and trying to focus some light on “she who must not be questioned”.

After the massive coverup with obama, his background, his possible continuing vices, probably not. Our nation is doomed if we continue with the mainstream political party “cult of personality” politics and ignore signs of incapacity. Sometimes rumor is close to the truth.

A candidate for US President doesn’t need a security background check and she doesn’t need to submit proof of physical and mental capability to lead. That is wrong. She couldnt get hired to drive a school bus without drug testing and a physical and psychological exam.

I wonder what Krauthammer thinks? As an MD he should be able to view videos of her and see indicators of what is going on with the old grey mare despite the makeover and stage management of this aging one-trick Rodham pony. Ditto with Putins KGB and every other world class intelligence services doing forensic analysis of our politicians. I am sure they have the Obamas pegged for what they are.

Hillary has millions of policy negatives that Rove can discuss. BUT he has to go and make everyone look crazy. Rove does nobody any favors.

So you want to talk about experience? And the issues? That's precisely the approach that McCain and Romney took. It's the "good government Republican" approach to campaigning, the kind of thing you do when you're running for the President of the Student Council. You make a good point. There's too much snark and not enough seriousness about the Witch's possible condition on this thread. Remember Teddy Kennedy's terminal glioblastoma and how the media did its best to conceal that diagnosis as long as possible. Indeed, the only way to know what was going on was to read between the lines the way a knowledgeable Soviet "citizen" would read Pravada to learn what was really happening in the Soviet Union. Rove may well be onto something. Let's sit back and watch it play out.

Everyone’s had the experience of stomach flu causing a major fall and a concussion right before testifying...

It is just as viable as the idea of a video causing the attack.
