You hit the nail square on the head!

I agree with you on all points.

I'm with John Derbyshire on this:

#bringbackourgirls

Our girls? No. Not ours. You can feel sorry for them without becoming their daddy. This isn't our problem.

Doesn’t it just show the arrogance of the typical American Liberal to refer to them as “Our Girls.”

"Where are the Nigerian men? Aren’t the parents incensed enough?"

That's what I don't understand. Seems to me they're expecting someone else to come in and do their work for them.

And why should it not be legal for any citizen of the planet to kill a terrorist?

Because terrorists hide among innocent people and cannot generally be told from them, at least by outsider.

I have no problem with anybody anywhere killing terrorists.

I have a big problem with random people roaming the world killing random people they think might be terrorists.

How would you like it if foreigners did that in the US?

Back in the days of yore, pirates were considered to be by definition at was with the rest of humanity and outside the law. But they were fairly easy to tell who was who, because they were the guys on the pirate ship.

Even then, there were ambiguities, because pirates forced unwilling seamen to cooperate and provide skills they didn't have, such as navigation.

When a pirate ship was captured, many of those on board were, or claimed to be, in this group. So they had to have trials to separate out the actual pirates from their captives.

“How would you like it if foreigners did that in the US?”

Well, since we won’t, someone eventually will. If we actually lived by our laws we wouldn’t have a terrorist problem. If we had stuck to what GWB said when he launched the WOT and one and killed terrorists instead of arming them they would be cowering like rats in caves instead of going to the UN suing for ‘human rights’.

The problem is that in a sane world, I would agree with you wholly. It is nuts to have people randomly terrorist hunting. We do not live in a sane world anymore. We just don’t.

We live in a world where American Sec Of States call Israel an Apathid state and block terrorists from being called terrorists on official docs/policy. Then arm them. Then people die. Then the Govt tries stopping people from protecting themselves because muslims ‘fear’ retaliation from what they caused. Then they go do more of it.

We live in a world where black is white and up is down. Many people are tiring of that world. And when it finally hits the reality threshold, lots of handwringers are either going to get awful quiet or have to openly side with the poor oppressed terrorists to TRY stopping the blowback.

No, it is not ‘good’ or desirable ect. But it’s coming whether you or I like it or not. It has all happened before. Look to Bosnia for what is in our future.

It will happen again.

Boko Haram’s New War Song: “We Will Enter Churches and Slaughter Christians…”

Leah Barkoukis

http://townhall.com/tipsheet/leahbarkoukis/2014/03/31/boko-haram-jihadists-sing-song-vowing-to-storm-churches-and-kill-christians-n1817188

In a video explaining how they attacked Giwa Barracks earlier this month, the Nigeria-based Islamist militant group, Boko Haram, also sang songs about how they plan to continue targeting Christians, churches, and the country at large.

Sahara Reporters brings you the latest from the Religion of Peace (emphasis mine):

The 24-minute video appears to confirm the sect’s sophistication as well as its access to modern weaponry.
The video shows the sect exhibiting their warfare techniques, shooting targets from specialized armed vans, as well as holding and firing grenades from the ground. It also shows the sect’s commanders coordinating operations by giving orders.

The footage contains details of how the sect launched attacks from several directions in and around the military barracks. It also shows hundreds of people the sect claimed to have freed from detention by the Nigerian military.

Warning Nigerian police officers to stay off their path, the sect sang, “Police give us way, you are too weak and small to stop us. You are all women and we understand you.”

The sect sang that their demand for Sharia cannot be compromised. They restated that their targets remained churches, Christians and the Nigerian state. Part of the song stated, “We are working for Allah and must bring Shariah to existence; we are committed to protecting Muslims from being annihilated by infidels. We are going to kill them. We will enter Churches and slaughter Christians and barracks. We are calling on all Muslims to come out and fight Jihad. If you joke, these infidels will annihilate Muslims. You see how they are killing our women and children.”

The group boasted that it had demonstrated its prowess in Borno, Bauchi and Abuja, and the infidels of Plateau, Kaduna, Adamawa and Gombe.

They vowed to fight for Shariah will all their might until success was achieved.

Designated as a foreign terrorist organization by the State Department, Boko Haram has been violently attacking churches, schools, markets, and government forces since 2009.

As a result of attacks by Boko Haram and “uncontrolled reprisals” by Nigeria’s security forces, there have been more than 1,500 deaths in the country in 2014 so far, according to Amnesty International. Boko Haram is responsible for more than half of the killings, however, which includes “scores of schoolchildren who have been the victims of deliberate attacks.”

According to the United States Institute of Peace, Boko Haram believes “the politics in northern Nigeria has been seized by a group of corrupt, false Muslims” and therefore wants to wage a war against them, the Nigerian government, military, and civilians in order to “create a “pure” Islamic state ruled by sharia law.”

Where was Obama during the Islamic terrorist arrack in Benghazi? Did you heard Obama and Michelle’s outrage over the massacre of Christians by Muslims during the last 6 years of his presidency?

Better, send in Sen. Juan McPain to negotiate with the rebels. Once the negotiations start, have a Predator drone nail both with Hellfire missiles for a “twofer”.

“Oh, it goes right to the heart of the debate as both a Christian and a Conservative.

If your Christianity does not drive your politics, you are not a Christian. You cannot compartmentalize areas of your secular life and not apply your Christianity to those areas like politics.

You Christian ethics and morals either apply to 100% of your life, or your Christianity does not work, and is not authentic.”

I don’t think I have ever seen such a hypocritical statement as this one. Who are you to judge another person’s Christianity!

I have also faxed my hawkish Senator not to waste one drop of American treasure on this culture...it will not stop this centuries old barbarous behavior. I appreciate McCain’s faith in our military but deplore his maniacal call to arms for a cause this lost...only those who practice Islam can put an end to crimes like this. John does like ink!

It is a big reach that you could “save" those girls. The stuff I am seeing and hearing says they have mostly been dispersed. They are not all siting in some room somewhere waiting for the US military to rescue them.
