The head of Russia’s space program says Moscow will reject the United States’ request to use the International Space Station beyond 2020 – the latest twist in a standoff between the two countries over the ongoing crisis in Ukraine.

Deputy Prime Minister Dmitry Rogozin, who leads Russia’s defense industry, made the announcement Tuesday. He also said Russia will block Washington from using Russian-made rocket engines to launch military satellites, according to Reuters.

Ummmm.
OK.

Who needs whom more?

I will swim against the current here and conclude that this is a good thing.

Funding the enemy's intercontinental weapons capabilities (and reliability) always seemed to me as a stupid geopolitical, strategy, to reduce it to simplistic but real terms.

…And the President responded to the incident by saying, quote, "Screw those Commie bastards, and screw their little wussy space station."

I would bet that by then, not using Russian engines
won’t even be a consideration.

We designed it, hauled it up there and assembled it, so the (&)*& are the Russians to say who gets to use it????

They don't claim to be deciding who uses it; They are just asserting their ownership of the launch vehicles facilities.

The US chose to transform space-related funding to additional welfare.

Can't blame the Russians for that!

Yes. We can’t even get astronauts to or back from the space station now, because Obama shelved the Space Shuttle program. So the only way to get there now is with Russian Soyuz rockets, at least until SpaceX (US company) can finish their rocket in 2016~.

The globalist thinking is that if all countries are dependant on each other, there will be no more wars, and everybody will become best friends. Of course, just like the Concert of Europe, it fails once one country gets ambitious. It only takes one.

Wow! Who could have ever seen this coming???
Thankfully at least China is our friend and will always be there for us, manufacturing everything we need no matter what. It’s a shame that we don’t have some sort of National Aeronautics and Space Administration of some sort, then we could make our own rockets. Maybe China will make some and send them to us.

So what? Didn't Emperor Barack tell his NASA Director that his major job was Muslim outreach? Why do we care about the ISS? NASA can used the money saved to fund Muslim terrorist groups at home — or export them into the solar system.
