Huy Fong Rocks!

Texas has loved the Vietnamese, and they have blessed Texas.

Come on down!

Fewer things are as hard hitting as someone that escaped something horrible, only to say that America looks like what they had escaped.

The Vietnamese lit up the gulf shrimp industry.
We all take that for granted now.

This fellow has been most successful for a kid thrown on the waves of war.

I wish him happy shores.

Every Viet I know has smoking pepper bushes here in tx.
Peppers grow like weeds here.

Chiltepins are my favorite indigenous pepper.

BTW, I just learned this from a Viet guy,
Fry some eggs, and splash soy on it then cover with plate while the liquid steams the top opaque. I have always done this with water rather than soy.

No salt necessary, haven’t even tried the siratcha on it.

Have a good bit of dunkin bread on hand.

Looks like the key question is whether the special peppers can be grown in Texas.

Lawmaker Seeks Sriracha move from California

Tran said Texas must prove it can grow chili peppers as hot as the hybrid jalapenos he gets from a farm that specifically developed them to make his Sriracha sauce the hottest possible.

"If there is not chili peppers, we cannot build the plant," he told reporters.

Although Tran had the Texas flag flying outside the facility on Monday, he said it was just meant to welcome his visitors. Inside the plant's employee parking lot, and out of public view, a large sign declared, "No Tear Gas Made Here."

I am totally down with that! I think it's better than, and easier than, cooking them over easy.

Yeah but they made it international.

Some of the viets I know are just getting to understand crawfish.

But my point is they saw the potential in the bay for shrimp.
