Most black people have been taught from the cradle that ‘their kind’ are the only ones they can trust. Oh, and that we are all racist bastards.
"One man with courage makes a majority." ~ Andrew Jackson
None so blind . . .
If anyone has an in-depth knowledge of scripture, they are immunized. You madam are immunized.
Too bad more people are not immunized—whatever their “race”
Their is only one race according to God.
The human race.
However according to the godless, there are many races, all of which suffer at the hands of the white devils.
She is just discovering how it is to be white.
That's because besides being a Muslim, he himself is gay or at the very best bisexual.
Patricia Dickson sees things through her own eyes...not those of others.....
And whose most prominent "leaders" are themselves racists who perpetuate and exaggerate grievances, real or imagined.
I'm proud to have never pulled the lever for Teddy Kennedy despite him claiming the very same "heritage" as mine (white,Irish,Catholic,Boston). And if he had ever been the Rat nominee for President I would have pulled the lever for his opponent...regardless of his/her race, religion, ethnicity.
I put country before tribalism.Always have,always will.
One suggestion. Change the usage from “Black Americans” to “Americans who are black”. It takes a little longer to write, but it puts the emphasis where it should be.
Americans of Irish descent.
Americans of Italian descent.
Americans of Latin descent.
And yet I wonder where was this blind loyalty when Alan Keyes was available to support? Particularly from Black Christians.
How about Alan West? Where’s the righteous anger about this outstanding Colonel getting marginalized?
Unless you were a political wonk - and most Americans, sadly, are not, and a determined conservative, I could forgive Black Voters for voting for Obama - ONCE just because they wanted to see a black man in the White House. Catholics did this with Kennedy. I am sure it was done with other groups.
But for them to have RE-ELECTED this freakin catastrophe, this POST-AMERICAN President, this lying fool, this enemy of Christianity A SECOND TIME was pretty stupid and alarming. The only thing I can say in defense of the black community is the support he received second time around was less than what he got the first time.
BO’s African ancestors (and their tribe) most likely were the ones which sold black American’s ancestors into slavery. The more things change, the more they stay the same.
Excellent points.
Black Americans throw their ‘full support’ behind any Democrat.
Ignore them and move on... Democrats feed blacks promises that never come true and blacks reward them by keeping white liberal elites in power. We don’t need to be involved in anything that creepy. We can laugh at them - and move on - it’s that hopeless.
If a crack cocaine dealer was running against the best human on the planet, blacks would vote for the crack cocaine dealer if he had the “D” for democrat by his name.
Really, it’s disgusting.
When I was assigned at a joint command in North Chicago in the very early 1990s, I worked with an older black lady who was as culturally conservative as they come. Up and down the scale, she was the black female version of Rick Santorum.
Then, in 1992, along came the philandering and thoroughly corrupt Bill Clinton, and she voted for him enthusiastically. I asked her what — given her cultural traditionalism — drew her to Clinton. She replied, “He’s a democrat, and we in the black community vote for democrats. DOn’t ask me why...it’s just what we do.”
It’s culturally and generationally ingrained.
Their church leaders and Al Sharpton didn't give them the approval to criticize COL West's detractors. Leader approval is apparently very important to them.
I REALLY DOUBT
that blacks would have voted for a black conservative
at a rate of 90+%
just to vote for the “first black president”.
Yep..remember the 36% support the intellectually limited Alvin Greene got in SC back in 2010 during the race against Jim DeMint?
