“Privilege” is a word that’s been tossed around a lot lately. But if you’re wondering about its origin, look no further than Peggy McIntosh, a women’s studies scholar at Wellesley College. Before Princeton freshman Tal Fortgang “Checked His Privilege” at the suggestion of his university professors, McIntosh wrote a paper in 1988 entitled “White Privilege and Male Privilege: A Personal Account of Coming to See Correspondences Through Work in Women’s Studies.”

Exactly. How bad does it get for the people who decry the current modus operandi until that turnaround moment occurs? It’s unknowable, and this admin is exhibiting all the signs of a cornered animal. More likely, I suspect, the Left’s “protected classes” will begin to exact violent retribution against those they have determined unacceptable to them. Further, it is no stretch to think that these violent retaliations would be tacitly supported by the government, meaning no prosecution, and probably no real attempt at justice. Eric Holder has already set precedent on this point

Yes indeed. The hidden truth is that much of the governing class and their academic enablers believe in one fashion or another that normal middle class white people are THE PROMBLEM. In order for the US to become a part of a functioning ‘interdependent global society’ the spirit and the very identity of the middle class has to be broken and remade. White guilt and ‘white privilege’ are important intellectual tools in this struggle. Equally important is bringing enough non-white third world people to the US so that the US will ‘look like the world that is emerging’. Finally recalcitrant whiteys will be controlled by some sort of street militia called ‘The Community Police’ that will be recruited by ‘community leaders’ from maladjusted and unemployable young non white males. This is no fantasy, I have heard enough inside the beltway coded speech talking about this sort of scenario.

“White Privilege” is simple racism. There is no way to ‘fix’ the condition like there is no way to ‘fix’ the pigment shade.
My opinion is that it is a method to enable non-whites to retain ‘victimhood’ in spite of all hiring preferences and academic adjustments. That this coming to the fore now after 5 years of a ‘black’ President is no accident.
It is ugly and as a generalization totally laughable. Unfortunately I am sure it will become a race-baiter meme for a long time to come as it works to the liberal ‘white guilt’ factor.
I took the test and scored a 54. From the questions, living as a normal American is privilege. Graduating high school and college, having 2 parents, not being a homo, wierdo or addict, and living within your means is their def of privilege. “Privilege” is making good decisions, working hard and staying out of trouble. If you choose to do otherwise its your F’in problem.
Maybe she should look to her “American Privilege”.

I've come to the concusion that they suffer from Muenchausen syndrome by proxy. They purposely inflict pain and suffering upon America, repeatedly bringing her to the brink of death, so that they can appear as the loving, devoted mother determined to fight for the life of her sick child.
Mentally deranged attention 'hos. Describes most of Congress as well. When so-called representatives ("advocates") claim to be doing the people's work and "fighting" for a cure for whatever ails them, well...
It goes a long way in explaining why the country just keeps getting sicker.
