Obama camp angry, embarrassed over 2009 Nobel Prize: official

A senior Norwegian diplomat says his country's former ambassador to the United States was given a verbal lashing by Barack Obama's chief of staff when the president was awarded the Nobel Peace Prize in 2009.
Morten Wetland said Thursday the ambassador, Wegger Stroemmen, was approached by Rahm Emanuel, now Chicago's mayor, who accused Norway of "fawning" to the newly elected U.S. leader.
Wetland, the Norwegian ambassador to the United Nations at the time, told The Associated Press he did not witness the dressing down but said there was an air of embarrassment in Washington that Obama had been given the award so early in his presidency.

What is scary is that they only thought that it was to early to get the prize, there is no consideration about whether he deseved the prize.
Everything about Obama is a fraud including his phony nobel prize.

That’s right, and Obama surely can’t be thrilled that the loss of any prestige associated with it will be traced right back to him. He was given a prize for being half black, then proceeded to have his own troop surge in Afghanistan...

Yes, he was at the time. Now that he is looking at the end of a career without accomplishments, he realizes what that award meant - it was a bogus award for a bogus hollow man. The timing was absurd at the time, and in hindsight reflects poorly on how the world judged him solely on his melanin.

The Middle East was in active combat zone during his entire presidency. Our troops were coming home in pieces and you consider this as stable. Get out your friggen dictionary and look up the word stable!
Yeah, right. The poor guy had no choice but to accept it. Apparently there’s no Norwegian equivalent to the English “No, thank you.”
Pretty sure the Peace Prize Committee voted on this before Obama was even sworn into office. Obama should be ashamed. I’m sure he is not.
