Could you link to the transcript of the Laura Ingraham show you heard that on?
Thanks.

Many tea party groups and tea party individuals supported Rubio. <<
Yes, because they jumped in line to endorse him the minute he announced his candidacy, and didn't bother to vet him. This was especially unjustifiable considering they had just gotten burned badly by the PREVIOUS "true conservative" GOP Senator in that seat, Mel Martinez, who ALSO had CLAIMED to be "anti-amnesty" to get the GOP nomination.
I guess they're slow learners. "Gosh, you mean politicians don't always keep their campaign promise?"

Did the Tea Party Express get in Rubio’s corner to help him get elected?

With all due respect, given Rubio’s participation, and leadership, with the Senate Gang of Eight amnesty bill, that’s not a ringing endorsement for Sal Russo.

Huh? Your comment does not relate to my comment that I can see.
Do you have the answer to my question?

There's much debate on the Right about amnesty and immigration. The Left is helping to stoke the debate to help splinter the Right.
However, there's on thing the Right can unite around: taking down the $4 trillion government that is in the process of a silent but deadly coup d'état before it takes us down. This is THE great issue of our time.
No other issue comes close. The Right must unite around whoever is most committed to cutting the federal government by at least 80% (would leave it at $800 billion - still too big, but its a start.) There is no other source or entity, foreign or domestic that poses the threat the federal government poses to our lives, liberties, pursuits, fortunes, economy, posterity, Constitution and rule of law, future and survival of America as we know it.
We are part of the solution by uniting to cut down this monster and we are part of the problem if we are diverted from this task.

You disagree with that? YES, I damn well do disagree with that first statement. The U.S. immigration system is NOT flawed and broken. The existing laws worked just fine before Uncle Sam stopped enforcing them. Eisenhower fixed the problem in only six months through strict enforcement and deportations, and so there is no excuse now.
Sal has bought into the big business, cheap labor, "jobs Americans won't do" nonsense. Does the TEA Party Express stand behind him?

I dont answer questions based on false premises. And what false premise would that be, chief? That Sal Russo supports amnesty, which he just wrote a big high-profile column supporting?

Tea party express?? WTF?? First time I heard of it. Another plant by the left? It's pretty prominent and through a certain poster on this thread, has maintained a presence on Free Republic, with JimRob participating in some of its events. That's why this question about Russo and whether or not TPX still backs him is so important.
It was at a TEA Party Express event that Jim met and got kissed by Sarah Palin

If the groups supports Russo’s statements, I’m guessing there will be a reassessment of this group.

I see you got Rove's talking points.
Syncro, you are not being honest in your replies. I don't care who you once were or who you think you are now; you have never once replied to me in a civil and honest way. And your opinions can change one-eighty for no apparent reason.
Your posts, historically, sound as if you're willing to try your hardest to defend indefensible positions with lying insinuations and distortions...all of which are well-worn leftist tactics.
And you have presented yourself repeatedly as one of the greatest FReepers of all. No...you're not.

Yea I remember back when TEA groups began to form. I remember a few of us saying Watch them like hawks because the GOP/Libs are going to infiltrate and co opt them. I remember us getting called lib plants for suggesting such a thing.
Not like it was any novel concept.
But even if every TEA Party This or TEA Party That implodes and disappears...
The American TEA movement remains unscathed.
Tens of us FReepers and millions of us voters know where we stand without having membership cards in our wallets. We instead bear the scars of trusting in those who were not honest with us. And we can recognize each other after short conversations and by how we treat each other. That's enough of a organization.

Greaaaat...with friends like this, who needs enemies right?
How many more moles are in the TEA party movement?
You know, I’m pretty much at the point of just giving up. Maybe Alex Jones is right after all: everyone is conspiring to do something evil, and no one is to be trusted.
Which, if true, is pretty much a sign that all political activity and activism is just a big fat waste of time.
To: Syncro
Sal Russo clearly supports the RINO version of Amnesty, which we both know will be gutted immediately in the Senate and replaced with full-on, no-strings, immediate Amnesty.
Therefore, the premise on which this question is asked is legitimate: What is the TEA Party Express saying about Sal and his embrace of amnesty?
I recall back when the Tea Party first started, that there were a few Trojan Horse organizations that adopted the name but had nefarious designs. I even think I remember that TP Express was specifically named.
Nonetheless, my recollection being solid or not, the embrace of RINO Amnesty is counter to everything the Tea Party stands for.
This will be a critical blow to TPE (if they are even really "Tea Party"), unless they rebuke Russo's position immediately and forcefully.
