Feinstein's a liberal communist of the old school. One who still believed people had a right to make a living and, um, grow food. Thin gruel, but it still sets her apart from the new left.
Perhaps she received a briefing on the effects ‘food riots’ would have on her and other democrats reelection chances in the future?
