I respectfully disagree with your analysis of my paper, which you haven’t read.
My professor, who was a conservative by the way, felt it was a legitimate topic. And I got an “A” on it, as I did on practically all my papers in all courses, since I have exemplary expository writing skills.
I know and even conservatives can be fooled, including me (I have several similar papers to my credit), but judging literature from the 1400s by our standards is not appropriate. Examining it, is legit, but labeling the ancients or classic literary figures is not serious lit criticism.
