Maybe the lyin’kings gal pal val simply “mis-spoke”. Or just plain old lied. Think I’ll stick with the latter.

She will dump more NSA- and IRS-info on Boehner.

I can see how it would be very easy to misconstrue what Boehner said. We all know Speaker Boehner can’t wait to pass comprehensive immigration reform, aka amnesty, as a series of smaller bills. He’s as much as said so. I assume he’s told the White House he’s trying to get something done this year. That sounds like something he’d say, doesn’t it?

If I tell you I want to try and do something—that I badly WANT to do it—there’s only a small bit of difference between that and making a commitment to do it. If I really wanted to steal your car but didn’t because I was afraid of getting caught, I’m still a thief. Likewise, if I sincerely wanted and lusted after your wife but didn’t try to sleep with her for fear of getting shot if you came home at the wrong time, I’m still an adulterer.

Bottom line: Boehner wants amnesty.

That's why there can be no letting up.

Jarrett had told an investors conference in Las Vegas on Thursday that she believes that Boehner will allow a comprehensive immigration reform bill, or a package of bills, to come up for a vote after a series of GOP primaries this summer in order to avoid spoiling the chances of some Republican incumbents.

If these incumbents vote for "comprehensive immigration reform," Reps should stay home. Time to send these bastards a message.

Doesn’t it appear that GOPe and White House are coordinating their statements? Why would Jarret care to clarify?

Well, Bonehead’s spokesman made a statement, here...

I think Bonehead’s facing severe backlash and is just trying to quiet down the plebs. ValJar had to help him put the hush on this. Who knows?

Interesting thing is that Jarrett’s statement may have been a deliberate attempt to tick the GOP base off into staying home, helping ensure Dem retention of the Senate.

She isn’t really known for making gaffes like this. So we presume that the original statement came out exactly as she intended it too. The backtracking is just a way of covering her and the administrations a**es.

That leaves two options. The first is that she inadvertently let slip the existence of a secret deal in a public forum. Again, not something she’s known for.

The other option is, knowing how divisive amnesty is within the GOP. And how riled up the GOP base is over it and the GOPe, she’s trying do some voter suppression by exploiting that division to convince Conservatives to stay home.

I’d probably break the mistake/slip/suppress likelihood ratio down to a 10/30/60 split.
