To: Dr. Bogus Pachysandra

This isn’t the civil war. The vast majority of military personnel never fire a bullet at the enemy and most of these are never in any danger more significant than faced by civilians. Yeah, military service can still be an honorable thing but I see no reason to give a guy doing data entry in the Pentagon amnesty if you’re going to deny it to the guy doing data entry for Corp X. Just more Dem pandering on the ignorance of the public that thinks every soldier is Rambo waking up to dodge gunfire from the Vietcong every morning.

Wonder how many data entry clerks were killed when that airliner crashed into the Pentagon? How many of the REMFs all of a sudden woke up one morning to discover they were up to their asses in VC and NVA during TET. For the sailors on the USS Cole, it was just another routine peacetime refueling stop.
