For well over a century, there has been a contingency of people who have made dire predictions about changing weather patterns and their effect on the earth.

They have vacillated between global warming that would melt the polar ice caps and a new ice age which would see the skyscrapers in New York frozen over, catastrophic flooding or frozen oceans and have even predicted what areas of the planet would be the most adversely affected and how many of the food-growing regions would no longer be arable and how vast numbers of the population would starve.

The socialist movement using this scam to control the economy and the Bourgeois have been crying wolf for so long that if nothing "is done" to prevent the "pending catastrophe" then it will expose the scam for what it is. Nothing is going to happen and there really wasn't a problem. But if "something is done" they can then take the credit for fixing something that wasn't a problem in the first place. Makes sense to a lot of us. Unfortunately, the low/no info crowd is more concerned about the upcoming nuptials of kim and kant-yeah. Their “carbon footprint” to fly to Paris for the “celebration”—————. Not so much. As long as “they” can keep the low/no’s from caring, “they’re” good.
