I hope parents can straighten the kids out about the real threats. The kids just think of it as another airsoft game.
This is like what my father in law talked about when he was with the 3rd. Army going into Germany. The German army surrender but the Hitler Jugend had to be killed to the last one. For them it was a religion not a fight.
They try that in the real world, though, under cover of the law, and they’ll find out the difference between a soldier and a policeman, like those deputies in that Rambo movie. Many of the Iraq and Afghanistan veterans had four or more tours under their belts. And that’s not even talking about special operators, intelligence, airborne, etc. I know guys that could eat 20 or 30 of those kids for breakfast.
They will have the numbers and the time to single out and over power, nthat is the way of the fascist...
This will not end well

I seriously doubt kids will ever be used but it does prepare them to enter federal LEO service when of age.
All kinds of countries use kids right now in Africa, the Middle East, South & Central America, Asia, etc. Things you never imagined 6 years ago are well within the realm of the possible in 2014.
At first, yes, but when the word gets out what is happening?
True Brown Shirts they are becoming.
I wish more of them would consider the military when of age. The number of young GOP members who have served in any capacity in my area is atrocious.
Wow a story from a Mainstream outlet in 2009 and it sounds like it came from the infotards site yesterday, boy we are really in trouble...
What we are seeing here is the increasing vilification of our own military personnel. It is a continuing effort to paint the picture that the real enemies of American citizens are our own former military personnel. The two worst enemies of American citizens and patriots sit in the WH and the attorney generals office. These vile Marxist pigs and their allies in Islam, and the various factions of foreign invaders, are the prime threats for they are organized and hold the power to kill thousands.
Nothing is more terrifying than a 14 year old with a gun. However, such preparation as depicted in the article may be necessary for the hell to come.
Well......who will bell those cats?
The focus is a new aspect of the old established BSA/police Explorer unit program.
About 10 years ago the local national guard unit had a recruiting drive that involved paint ball guns and local teens.
It was kind of neat helicopters, base camps about 20 local teens 50 60 guard members ect.
My son was picked to be on the resistant’s team.
The guard had all kinds of rules. I suppose to try and keep thing safe.
I told my son there are no rules.
First thing they did was attack when they were told they couldn’t.
2nd was hit and run hit and run.
Lets say the guard unit took a lot of casualties.
Fun and games for sure some good lessons learned.
When bullets start to fly in both directions there’s always a chance one could hit you.
Remember a lot of police officers are combat vets also.
My points ??
Hamburger Hill..... Gunny Highway
That was the first thing that came to mind when I read this.
