Lynn Sweet @lynnsweet | Email
WASHINGTON--President Barack Obama returns to Chicago on May 22 to headline big money fund-raisers to benefit the Democratic Senatorial Campaign Committee and Sen. Dick Durbin's re-election warchest.
Obama, who touched down in Chicago in March for funders to bankroll the Democratic National Committee, will appear at a reception at the home of Michael and Tanya Polsky and a dinner at the home of Fred Eychaner, the CEO of Newsweb Corporation and one of the biggest Democratic donors in the nation. Obama needs the Senate to remain in Democratic control following the November elections in order to advance his agenda for the final two years of his second term.
Durbin is seen as having a big lead over GOP rival state Sen. Jim Oberweis R-Sugar Grove.
The price points
*$35,000 for Eychaner dinner and a photo (Or $17,500 per person)
*$15,000 reception co-chair and a photo
*$10,000 reception sponsor and a photo
$ $1,000 reception guest, no photo
When was the last time Bammy spent a night at his mansion in South Chicago?
No place deserves him better, domestically, the Crapcago.
The buzz is Obama will present Durbin with the coveted "Obama Rubber Stamp Award"..... b/c Durbin exhibits lock-stepping party loyalty not seen since 1930-40's-era Europe.
BACKSTORY As far back as 2008, at the presidential debate in Nashville, Democrat candidate Obama advanced his signature healthcare plan---ultimately enacted, by an historic straight Democrat party-line vote, into the "Affordable Care Act"
QUOTING 2008 OBAMA: "No. 1, let me just repeat, if youve got a health care plan that you like, you can keep it. All Im going to do is help you to lower the premiums on it. Youll still have choice of doctor.
Repeated over and over ---- with the promise that every American family would be saving $2500.00 on healthcare costs. Significantly, Obamba NEVER corrected lock-stepping Democrats, all reading from the same Democrat talking points, all of them repeating the same Democrat promises---over and over again.
LOCK-STEPPING PARTY LOYALTY NOT SEEN SINCE 1930 40's ERA EUROPE Obama And The Dems marched in lockstep. The persistent Dumbocrat drumbeat ---- in obeisance to Obama ---- kept ringing reassuringly in our ears: "If you like your plan, you can keep your plan." ==========================================================
QUOTING SEN. RICHARD DURBIN: We believe and we stand by this if you like your current health insurance plan, you will be able to keep it, plain and simple, straightforward. (Sen. Durbin, Congressional Record, S.6401, 6/10/09)
=====================================================
MEMO TO DURBIN VOTERS Lock-stepping Durbin embedded all of this into US law:
(1) throwing millions of Americans off affordable health plans,
(2) burdening Americans w/ ruinous deductibles,
(3) nationalizing 1/6 of the US economy,
(4) installing IPAB's (Death Panels),
(5) abandoning seniors and the chronically ill,
(6) pulling $750 out of Medicare,
(7) decimating intergenerational transfers of wealth (grandma/pa's holdings go to the govt---not to you).
"Those Democrats leering over my shoulder owe me bigtime.
The healthcare bill insures we get a permanent Democratic majority."
" All except those Tea Party types, swallowed hook, line and sinker my promises that they could:
(1) keep their existing health plans,
(2) keep their own doctors that they like,
(3) keep their 25-year-olds on the family health plan,
(4) never be denied coverage for a pre-existing condition,
(5) sign up instantly on my tech-savvy government Web site,
(6) buy insurance only after becoming seriously ill."
(7) save $2,500 in annual premiums in the bargain....
(8) All without any new taxes."
"Them sonovagun Tea Partiers will rue the day they criticized my wonderful bill."
what is the government business cover story for this ?
Felons helping felons it’s the democrat way.
