He's absolutely right.
It's insane that an Israeli would dare to build a house for himself in Israel.
That's like an American from Iowa building a house for himself in Kansas. It's unconscionable.
This construction is clearly a provocation.
Not the peaceful destruction and killing that has been the generous and loving response of those poor people who have been forced to live (horror of horrors!) next to Israelis.

If I am not mistaken, Indyk is an old State Department hand with decades of experience in the Middle East. And he has always been anti-Israel.
He was involved in some failed peace venture in the Middle East back during the Clinton administration -- the failure largely tracing to his prejudice.
A guy like this has no business playing the role of "honest broker" in a negotiation. He's...not...honest.
