I read stuff like this and then think back to my early school days and riding the bus.... It’s as though we have gone through some kind of wormhole and landed on an evil alternate Earth.

There was a time when parents raised their children to behave in a civil manner.
First the “Short Bus window lickers” got a special bus, then the “behaviorally challenged” population get the “Barred Window, complete with armed guards.
Wouldn’t it be cheaper to arm the teachers and let them thin the herd as needed?
“Why have armed guards when you only have to throw the violent punks off?”
Answer:
1. Defenestration of offending students, many of whom are obese, is difficult due to school buses having small windows specifically designed to prevent the lil’ Bachelor’s Chillin from doing just that to each other.
2. School bus speed is usually too slow for the desired result on the offending student. The Thick Skulled/Thick Skin population might survive with only bruises/minor abrasions.
I saw it on the news and the kid who was assaulted was looking out the window. One of the thugs was not SUPPOSED to be on the bus. He was kicked off the bus when he was in a fight before.
