I would also like to see a Republican presidential candidate make public speeches in liberal urban strongholds, like Detroit and NYC, and tell "the big truth." Explain to them why Democrat programs are designed to "keep them on the plantation."
Yes, I want a lot. But this is the only way to roll back "the big lie," that has been perpetuated over generations. We're in a generational battle, and we have to think and fight like such.
I see a possible strategic error there. A lot of the time it is easier for all concerned for a surgeon to just operate on a patient, then to go into all the gory details hoping that the patient will be enthusiastic about the surgery.
Often, a president will make an error in asking the people for permission, instead of doing what they know works, and if it doesn’t, to ask forgiveness.
A conservative president might make a big splash by *not* being in the papers every day, by *not* giving speeches all the time, and by creating a government that the public *doesn’t* have to think and worry about all the time.
