Feinstein: Clinton in 'prime of her political life'

By LEIGH MUNSIL | 5/18/14 9:44 AM EDT

Karl Rove’s criticisms of Hillary Clinton's age and health were “pathetic,” Sen. Dianne Feinstein said Sunday.

“In my view, she’s in the prime of her political life. She’s got the energy. She’s articulate. She’s got the background. She’s got the smarts. She has all of the elements of a good leader plus the fact, and this is not to be underestimated, she is enormously attractive to people,” the California Democrat said on CNN's "State of the Union." “And she carries the torch for women who are the majority of votes in this country, very strongly and very high.”

Rove suggested at a recent conference that Clinton suffers from “brain damage” from a blood clot that temporarily prevented her from testifying about the attacks on the U.S. consulate in Benghazi, Libya.

But Feinstein dismissed the claims, saying Clinton’s experience as secretary of state will position her well to make foreign policy decisions in the White House.

CLINTON POLITICS AND PROFITEERING: Boeing CEO questioned on donations to Clinton foundation Boeing's CEO faced pointed questions about its charitable donation to the tax-exempt Clinton Foundation in the same year that then-Secy of State Hillary Clinton advocated on its behalf on an official tax-financed trip to Russia.

(POSTER'S NOTE: Some might say it was common to advocate for US business---but then very few previous advocates had a presidential campaign on the burner----nor did they have three tax-exempt foundations panhandling donations from corporations.)

David Almasi, shareholder and representative of the National Center for Public Policy Research think tank, asked Boeing the question, and gave an indication of the kinds of challenges that companies could face as Hillary weighs a run for president. Dozens of major corporations have made charitable donations to the Clinton Foundation in recent years.

Almasi called the Boeing donation a "clear conflict of interest" that seemed "reckless and unnecessary." (According to Almasi's notes, CEO McNearney called an implication that the donation might have been legally questionable "beyond the pale.")

Boeing contributed $900,000 to the Clinton family foundation (there are three) just months after Clinton had traveled to Russia, where she made what she called a "shameless pitch" for a state-owned Russian company to buy Boeing passenger jets. Boeing won the $3.7 billion Russian contract in June 2010. (Some facts excerpted from wahingtonpost.com report.)

==============================================

Mmmmmm....Hillary's incessant globe-trotting raises new questions about her motives....since it is well-known her global travels contributed nothing to US foreign policy.

Hefty corporate donations to the Clintons' tax-exempt foundations are nice...... but exchanging valuable US ntl security info for campaign contributions......that could really add up.

And the airheaded State Dept sorority sister could not name EVEN ONE of Hillary's accomplishments at State?

===========================================

And just who cleaned out the State Dept's bank accounts? News reports say the State Department announced it has "no idea" what happened to $6 billion used to pay its contractors..... a special “management alert” warned “significant financial risk and a lack of internal control at State has led to billions of unaccounted dollars over the last six years....under Hillary's watch.

Now we know how Hillary always$ get$ tho$e wonderful poll number$----why $he's always at the top of the pre $idential pack (cackle).

“Democrats would run a corpse if they thought they could get away with it...”

They do keep telling us that only a candidate of a certain group can represent voters of the same group.

They would have to run a corpse. They’ve got no one

Elizabeth Warren is a lightweight and would be beaten in a run against anyone the republicans ... Well... The tea party runs (GOP doesn’t want to beat anyone they’ve got, as the dems and their candidates are to the right of the GOPe ie Jeb & Christie)

Hillary is on her game. And it’s not enough that we won’t vote for her not enough that we think everyone should hate the idea of her being in charge

It’s not enough

Why wouldn't they run a corpse?

The dead are one of the democrats most reliable voting blocs.

There’s a difference between an unhealthy 66 year old and a healthy 66 year old. Hillary ain’t latter. President Reagan was working a ranch at her age.

If this were a Republican supporting, say, Bob Dole, it would read: “Feinstein, 81, says Dole is in the prime of his political career.”

I'll bet she's on lotsa meds because no one says boo about it and we see no doctor's reports. She's soooo bloated. Bet she's on warfarin plus 10 other things.

She's running a fake campaign, teasing the party, a reminder of what they did to her.

She's not running.

Feinstein is 80 years old. She should have retired 20 years ago

Honestly, I’m just sick of all of these politicians who lead charmed lives, travel the world on our dime, and get rich.

She can’t pass the physical. Her body is producing blood clots. Those cause strokes.

yep...
next month Feinstein turns 81 and not a grey hair is out of place...her brunette hair..excuse that ‘grey error’

Hillary can have tons of plastic work done, but those 70 year old legs just don’t have the ‘jump’ in them any more...she can’t fix her worn out body..

SHE WILL BE BENGAZI’ED...AND SHE DESERVE THAT.

Whaddya gonna believe? The leftists or your own lying eyes?

Clinton is a mess. It's questionable, in my mind, whether she can stand up to the rigors of two years of campaigning.

That SAID, the handlers aint got nobody else. They have got the option to take the risk of keeping the current puppet installed. I think that they have a 75% likelihood of success if they try that but it is risky. They are floating the idea of Man Bear Pig but that's laughable.

They know they just gotta "Weekend at Bernie's her" through the campaign. Beyond that she can sit in that same room current puppet watches ESPN in all day and the handlers and real power can go on destroying the nation. Roll her out to giv a speech once in a while and no one will be the wiser.

The Clintons didn't have a pot to *** in in Arkansas---never even had a home to call their own. Now they're multi-millionaires.......with hundreds of millions in donations from dubious sources financing Hillary's ambitions and Bill's ego-driven obsession for being in the limelight.

=====================================

There needs to be a thorough going-over of the three tax-exempt Clinton Foundations and their assorted money-grabbing derivations.

We need to know who pays/funds the Clinton's lifestyle/political ambitions---- especially b/c Hillary is running for prez. It is important to know to whom the Clinton's are truly indebted.
