"but most people even on here say everything is Bush's fault or now the Republicans’ fault "

And we have 95 plus percent of the Negro race believing that the Democrat Party is good for them, even though they are too brainwashed to understand that the Democrat Party is the party of segregation, slavery, Bull Connor, fire hoses, attack dogs, the KKK, and Margaret Sanger with her Planned Parenthood (Negro Genocide Program). But they voted for the "historic" presidential candidate, along with the rest of demonazi party.

All it took to elect Woodrow Wilson and two Roosevelts was one to three generations of voters indoctrinated in the nation's compulsory attendance, single-payer, and socialist-entitlement K-12 schools.

Children who attend single-payer and socialist-entitlement K-12 schools risk learning to be comfortable with government functionaries ruling their every move. And...Gee! If the voting mob can give a kid tuition-free schooling, why not use that power to get **lots** of free stuff?

Also....Children in secular schools **will**learn to think and reason secularly. They must just to cooperate in the secular classroom. How could it be otherwise? Today, every government school in this nation is uterly godless in it philosophic worldview. So?...How are the children learning to think? Answer: GODLESSLY!

( Yeah! I am shouting.)

Your post is spot on. I differ only in absolving Republicans of fault. On the whole they have not been as strong as they should be, as they MUST be. How often has the banner of “bold colors which make it unmistakably clear where we stand on all of the issues troubling the people” been raised? On the whole the Republican party prefers the pale pastels, allowing the Democrat party to select issues & frame the language of debate. Just look at the current pitiful state of the Republican party: lukewarm candidates like Romney, establishment aspirants who claim they will govern like Lyndon Johnson, their collective advocacy of “repeal and replace” rather than the abolition of PPACA - the greatest assault on the foundation principles of this country second only to slavery.

“[Conservatism] by its very nature it cannot offer an alternative to the direction in which we are moving. It may succeed by its resistance to current tendencies in slowing down undesirable developments, but, since it does not indicate another direction, it cannot prevent their continuance. It has, for this reason, invariably been the fate of conservatism to be dragged along a path not of its own choosing. The tug of war between conservatives and progressives can only affect the speed, not the direction, of contemporary developments.” Excerpt from The Constitution of Liberty

We need a party of liberty.

Below is a post directed some days ago at Eric Holder's racist Equal Employment Opportunity Commission. I think it dovetails nicely with your post. Like yours, it illustrates a daisy chain thoroughly intended consequences.

The EEOC was created in accordance with the 1964 Civil Rights Act.

The 1964 Civil Rights Act was challenged and found constitutional under the commerce clause. Racial segregation affected interstate commerce.

In 1942, Scotus found congress could enact statutes to regulate anything that remotely affected interstate commerce.

In the 1930s, Scotus came to the conclusion that it would not fill the void of protecting state interests under the 10th Amendment. It was just tough that the states weren't around to protect their interests.

In 1913, the American people fell for progressive snake oil and ratified the 17th Amendment. It did away with the constitution's structural protection of freedom with an overnight consolidation of power in Washington, DC.
