This is my relevant thought that I am posting where it seems to apply. it is not a message of defeat but instead one I think is just realistic. Other than hope, I guess I still have some hope, I challenge anyone to show me how this view is wrong. In fact, I am begging someone to do it because I really don’t want to be right.

Experience has shown, that even under the best forms of government those entrusted with power have, in time, and by slow operations, perverted it into tyranny.
Thomas Jefferson

We now have at least two generations of children and one coming up who are conditioned to believe that all whites are racists, all business is evil, all prosperity is undeserved, all prosperity of the US is at the cost of weaker and poorer nations, that we owe the poor people of the world a place to be, that perversion is fine, perpetual entitlements are an obligation, money is just printed, work is an option and that the world is going to end if we don’t address climate change immediately and dramatically.

In short, they are brainwashed and scared to death. The communists that are ruling this country use envy, greed and fear to control.

Junta, tyranny, oligarchy whatever you want to call it the United States that was has fallen and it won’t be back in our life times if ever again.

What ails the remains of our republic is structural.

As long as power is concentrated in DC, there is no hope.

Diffuse power, return the states’ participation in the republic they helped create, and freedom's restoration is possible.
