Documents obtained by the Washington Times revealed that the Bush Administration warned the Obama Administration about problems within the Veterans Administration as early as 2008, yet both the ABC and NBC evening news broadcasts ignored the story on Monday, May 19.
Of the big three networks, only the CBS Evening News with Scott Pelley covered the new revelations in the VA scandal. CBS News host Scott Pelley noted that The Bush White House was so concerned about this back in 2008 that it warned the incoming Obama Administration.
Nothing would surprise me anymore..too many people have died mysteriously under this administration..didn’t a woman who provided Obama’s birth certificate in Hawaii recently die in a plane crash..she was the only one killed
I believe you are right. Just another coincidence? I am just cynical enough to say NO.
And Bush should get some blame for that.
The VA systems should probably be sold off with vets compensated for regular hospital care instead.
My first experience with the VA was in 1974 after I left service to go to college. There were some medical issues. They responded almost as quickly as the snail mail of that era would allow. It was the Nixon era.
My next experience with the VA was after retirement in 2002, the end of the Bush era. They were unbelievably slow. Every piece of paper I sent them they returned asking for more. I finally blew them off because as a retiree I have Tri-Care.
This just might be a good time to resubmit. Perhaps with all the attention they will be nervous enough to do their jobs.
You are 100% correct.
Obama has the media protecting him, the GOPe kneeling before him and masses of brain dead Oxygen wasters supporting his every deed.
He could fart and the Left would say it smells like flowers.
