As to who owns our kids...it’s the people that pay to educate them, and that is the government.

Sure, the money starts with taxpayers, but the CHECKS come from government agencies, as they are the ONLY entities that can FORCIBLY take money from people. Yes, you parents who send your kids to public schools see all the smiling faces of the teachers and the administrators, telling you how important “parental involvement” is, but they DESPISE YOU and YOUR TYPE, particularly if ever question how and what they teach, and they have you thrown in jail if you question too hard. But helping out on field trips and bake sales (if they still have any) is just fine, so feel important.

So, send Johnny to school again this morning, and watch how he continues to drift out of your orbit, into theirs.

This has nothing to do with school. Did you even read the article?

I wonder if there is a bounty on new cases for Social Services. A relative was 'interviewed' by Social Services--in a Parochial School--without notification of parents before, during, or after the interview. The same child had been grabbed off the street and held hostage by Social Services for over a year due to a playmate's parent dropping her off at her former address, and had been run through a string of abusive foster homes, so for her it was like escaping the camps to go in for Gestapo Questioning.

When confronted, the Principal of the School claimed it was perfectly legal for her to do this. (The retort was that it is perfectly legal to abort your child, too, but that doesn't make it right.) The kid changed schools that day, and as long as that principal is at the school, none of our family's children will be.

The evil that is Social Services (yes, evil) is far more pervasive than people give it credit for, makes up rules as it goes along, and as it has been my experience, has no affection for the truth if it gets in the way of their agenda.
