Obama’s Fake Outrage, Fake Tirelessness, Fake Pay Cut…

Tuesday’s Morning Jolt:

Obama’s Fake Outrage, Fake Tirelessness, Fake Pay Cut…

The Obama administration is dangerously depleting our nation’s reserves of speech-writing clichés.

For example, when some terrible mess blows up on the president’s watch, what does he say? Come on. You know it.

No one is madder than him.

After White House Chief of Staff Denis McDonough assured the public, “nobody is more outraged about this problem right now” than President Obama – an outrage that has yet to be expressed in anything more than pro forma public statements – Reid Epstein decided to look up how often the president assured all of us he was angry – or perhaps more angry than anyone else! — about failures of his administration or other setbacks.

It’s quite a list:

October 2013: “Nobody’s madder than me about the fact that the website isn’t working as well as it should.”

The IRS scandal, May 2013: “Americans are right to be angry about it, and I am angry about it.”

April 2012, the Secret Service prostitution scandal: “If it turns out that some of the allegations that have been made in the press are confirmed, then of course I’ll be angry.”

May 2010, the BP oil spill: “And I know that doesn’t lessen the enormous sense of anger and frustration felt by people on the Gulf and so many Americans. Every day I see this leak continue I am angry and frustrated as well.”

March 2009, the AIG bonuses guaranteed in TARP: “I don’t want to quell anger,” he said. “I think people are right to be angry. I’m angry.”

He forgot one, though, when Obama was “apoplectic”:

President Barack Obama is “apoplectic” about lavish spending at the GSA, one of his top advisers said Sunday.

Veterans Affairs and Death by Bureaucracy

Posted By Arnold Ahlert On May 20, 2014 @ 12:19 am In Daily Mailer,FrontPage

There may finally be a scandal engulfing the Obama administration that even Democrats and their media collaborators can’t obfuscate. What happened at the VA facility in Phoenix, AZ, where employees created two sets of waiting lists to make it seem patients were being treated in a timely manner—and as many as 40 veterans allegedly died while languishing on the secret list—is an anomaly. Six more whistleblowers from around the nation have stepped forward, alleging the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) facilities they worked at also “cooked the books.”

The despicable subterfuge, allegedly occurring in at least seven VA Medical Centers in Arizona, Colorado, Pennsylvania, Georgia, Texas, North Carolina and Illinois is as simple as it was heartless. The official waiting list is the one that ostensibly met the VA’s policy, implemented by Secretary of Veterans Affairs Eric Shinseki in 2010. It set a 14-day time limit to provide care for a veteran making an initial application for an appointment. Yet by the agency’s own admission, only 41 percent of new VA medical patients were seen within that period in 2013, down from 90 percent in 2012.

Veterans Hospitals Death Panel Scandal Is a Preview of Life Under Obamacare.

The best example of how Obamacare’s “death panels” is going to work, is the scandal of the unknown number of veteran sentenced to death for being denied or delayed medical assistance by government bureaucracies of the V.A.

One also suspects that he is a FAKE EX-SMOKER.

Have you ever known a recent ex-smoker to not draw attention to his or her achievement? Especially if the alleged ex-smoker is incurably self-centered and boastful to begin with?

One suspects that Mister Obama still smokes, but that a lack of bravery and honesty prevents him from admitting the continued nicotine addiction. (I would absolutely love to be wrong on this, btw.)
