"Sickly"? Physically? How so? I get the mental/emotional "sickly" but the physical sickly? I don't get it. I've seen way too many female and male homosexuals to even remotely believe that.
I actually read an article here on it on Freerepublic in 1999. I saved it to a folder at work and it was the one time in my life I was fired from a job (because someone who mattered happened on it. I remember the article well...
The very first sentence was “We homosexuals have always been a sickly lot.”, and went on to discuss the litany of health problems associated with the homosexual lifestyle. And yet, it then discussed what AIDS was doing to the homosexual community, not just in deaths, but changing the whole culture.
BTW, I was a contractor and went on to a much better contract after that one, so it is ok. ;-)
"Sickly" in the sense of having a multitude of medical conditions. Receptive anal sex is an easy way to transmit diseases like AIDS and other STDs. Plus gay men, due to body-appearance concerns, are at higher risk of anorexia, bulimia, depression and other issues like steroid abuse. The net result is that gay men tend to die twenty years younger than straight men.
