This is a prime example of the dumbing down of American politics. He was on a TV show so he should be our Congressman, even if he’s dumb as a rock and doesn’t keep up on any current issues. Its not just him. Every time I see some Congressman’s wife take his seat, I cringe too. I used to laugh at countries like Italy where a porn actress was elected to their legislature. I don’t laugh anymore.
