Dewhurst, you’re off to the dustpan of history. You’ve advanced too many progressive ideas and agenda items, you’ve allied with progressive DimocRATS too often and you’ve obstructed agenda items of constitutional conservatives too many times to count.

This will be a huge loss for the GOPe - bigger than losing a Senate seat. The Lt. Gov. has significant legislative power in Texas and can do far more to further a conservative agenda than your typical Senator in DC
This is all you need to know about Dewhurst. He tried to circumvent the law to get a relative out of jail.

Interesting that he raised SO LITTLE from the outside, given his position. I suspect that Rove and company have already given up on him and moved on to other conservatives to try to take down.
