The Anti-Amnesty Pledge: a Promising Sign the Republican Party Is Changing from the Bottom Up
NRO ^ | Laura Ingraham

For years people such as Mark Krikorian, Senator Jeff Sessions, and the editors at National Review have argued that Republicans need to do more to reach out to working-class Americans. The Federation for American Immigration Reform (FAIR) recently issued a new candidates’ pledge that advances that goal. The pledge binds candidates to oppose any legislation that would grant more work permits or expand the already large number of new immigrants and temporary workers into the U.S.

In Georgia, all four top-tier GOP Senate candidates (Representative Paul Broun, Karen Handel, Representative Jack Kingston, and David Perdue) have signed the FAIR pledge.

Some may not like MY definition of “Reform”!!

1- Build a double-walled fence along at least 1500 miles of border.

2- Use Private Sector contractors to expedite THE EXISTING IMMIGRATION PROCESS.

3- Provide a robust Quality Control and Audit process to ensure the LAW IS BEING COMPLIED WITH.

4- The “incentives” are PENALTIES FOR NON-COMPLIANCE.

I;m sure you are joking!

Today, the Business’s are pushing Republican to allow all of these low wage folks into the Country for their benefit (as do the Democrats)! Nothing is said about the detriment to the Country! They are all after the benefits of low wage workers and nothing to do with the betterment of America. You should be ashamed to be taking their side.

There are humanitarian benefits sure, but those in power have nothing to say about that or at least they pretend and vote their pocketbooks. Shame on you.

It is “racist” to impose SLAVE WAGES on LEGAL immigrants and minorities, by promoting amnesty for ILLEGAL immigrants.

The horrible part about Rinos is that conservatives are not against a legal immigration which does not breed disrespect and corruption $$.

What they want is amnesty for the way Democrates and corrupt Rinos do business exploiting migrants.

I am perfectly happy with spanish music stations in NYC replacing liberal talk radio there... so long they go back in line like all the others applying, doing their homework and valueing the Constitution.

This is a very positive development.

Now all we need to do is place it on the table in front of all POTUS candidates and aspirants.

And everyone else all the way down to dog catcher.

It's my litmus test, in all cases.

It's not possible for me to vote for anyone, no matter party or positions on other issues, if they are willing to allow the illegal to stay in America.
