At least unlike this past Super Bowl, there won’t be a threat of inclement weather turning the game into a potential fiasco, since the stadium itself and much of the area surrounding the stadium are all covered and climate controlled. And the host committee—learning from the very successful Super Bowl at Indianapolis—will try to keep all activities as close to the stadium as possible to minimize weather effects on Super Bowl-related activities during Super Bowl Week.

Dayton's re-election is now secure. All local media are fawning all over him even more than usual.

They're all claming how much money it's going to bring “the state”. As if people in Biwabik and Red Wing are somehow going to find themselves in the money-this is strictly pork for Minneapolis. Millionaire Dayton scratching the back of his billionaire pal Ziggy.
