Krauthammer: Obama Acts as if He ‘Stumbled Upon the Presidency’
Mediaite ^ | May 19, 2014 | Josh Feldman

Posted on 05/20/2014 8:10:47 PM PDT by 2ndDivisionVet

Time after time, President Obama has reportedly learned of a number of big administration scandals in the media, from the IRS to Fast & Furious and now the VA scandal over wait times and veterans dying before receiving proper treatment (Jay Carney said today the president learned about this scandal through media reports). All this apparent unawareness before the fact led Charles Krauthammer to argue on Special Report today that Obama acts like he “stumbled upon the presidency” only to be shocked by how much wrong there really is.

He lightly mocked the idea that Obama is “madder than hell” about the scandal, and said the president can’t seriously keep claiming he learned about a wide number of government scandals just by listening to media reports.

“He acts as if––it was the same with the IRS, eavesdropping on the AP, and all the other scandals, the Obamacare launch––he stumbled upon the presidency and discovered all this horrible stuff is happening. He’s in charge of these departments. At some point, you’ve gotta ask, ‘Where has he been, and where is the competence, the elementary competence, he promised when he ran in 2008?’”

CNN reporter Drew Griffin said today that it’s “hard to believe” that no one in Washington, least of all the president, knew about these issues with the VA.

A lot of people think that Obama is destroying America on purpose. Bill Ayers may be doing it on purpose. Valerie Jarrett may be doing it on purpose. Obama? He's a dupe. A moron. The quintessential useful idiot.

I think most people know that Valerie Jarrett is the one running the show..she is the real President..Obama is just her useful puppet..now he agrees with everything that is going on of course..he is a Marxist who despises this country, but Jarrett, she is the one that is running everything

Can it be that Obama is simply stupid? Maybe that is a better answer than other political options.

Sorry, you lost me at "he's a dope".Nothing could be further from the truth. He is of superior intelligence and every single thing he's ever said and done, including the things that appear to some as stupid, are the result of total arrogance and a fanatical devotion to his mentors,Saul Alinsky and Bill Ayers.

We underestimate the capabilities of this psychopath at out peril...and the nation's peril.

Especially since the Bush transition team warned Obama's team that there were serious issues with the VAs waiting times that couldn't be trusted.

It may be "hard to believe," but I'm sure CNN will try really, really hard to believe it, and convince that Barky didn't learn about this until he found out by watching "The Daily Show."

The standard position on any of the issues that arise is that the President was unaware until he saw it on the news ...

He's a fool, and definitely stumbled into the White House. It was a bad idea that got out of control, and now the Royal Fool is set for life. People like him, his ugly wife and his freeloading brats, could care less about the future of America. (Just like the Bush and Clinton dynasties.) All they care about is what it can do for them.

How I loathe the liberals in both parties.

When someone plays stupid this often, you have to start to wonder if they are simply playing.

I have come to conclusion that not only Obama and his handlers want to destroy America, he wants to hurt Americans, make them suffer.

Nothing else makes sense to me.

At the time of his election, I thought he never contemplated winning the election. The look on his face, early on, seemed like he had terror. Not sure at whether it was due to what he learned in briefings, or being scared of the responsibility or what. I do think he is an idiot who hates America. He is smarter than average, but barely. More than anything, he reminds me of my youngest brother - and arrogant, mean, doofus. He just wants what he wants, and will do anything or say anything to get it.

I think it was Richard Belzer, or maybe someone like him, who thinks that they show a newly-elected president a film of the JFK assassination that no one has ever seen before from the grassy knoll vantage point to scare him into line.

I’d generally agree on Jarrett being the linchpin of this administration. Of the first four years...there was almost zero international affairs skills with the top twenty people around the President (count out Hillary as well). The international affairs record as of 2013? Pretty much a “D-minus”. As they swapped around chairs last year...they brought one or two people in with such skill sets. Jarrett picked all of these people for their jobs, and ensured that they get little if any face time with the President.

The finance side of the house? All team players and limited in experience. So Jarrett, who has zero finance and zero international skills, is mostly pushing a social program administration, which was ok as long as they held both the house and senate. Now? It’s mostly a lost cause.

The remaining question will be in 2016, does NBC go out and hire Jarrett (at the tune of $400k a year) to be one of their Sunday morning chat show players?

Odumbo DID stumble on the presidency. He sure as hell didn’t earn it nor has done anything good to keep it.

I despise the creep.
